This is a family rental property that is located in a quiet, residential community. No groups or house parties allowed.
Adherence to maximum occupancy, parking, trash and noise ordinances is required and strictly enforced – any violation will result in eviction.
| Just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, Rudd's Roost is a pet-friendly two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation house in Crescent Beach, North Myrtle Beach. Its second-row location makes spontaneous beach outings easy, while a furnished porch and outdoor yard offer inviting places to unwind. Public beach access is an approximate 1-3 minute walk or short drive away, making it easy to enjoy sunny beach days and the beautiful Atlantic shoreline during your Crescent Beach getaway. Begin the day with coffee on the porch before heading across the street for a morning on the sand. The kitchen includes a dishwasher to make cleanup convenient, and three flat screen televisions provide entertainment after beach adventures. Smart televisions in the bedrooms offer additional viewing options, while Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. Shared on-site laundry facilities make it easy to refresh beach towels and clothing. The yard offers space to enjoy the fresh coastal air, and a grill makes casual outdoor dinners possible. Explore nearby North Myrtle Beach restaurants, shopping, golf courses, and entertainment before returning for a relaxing evening. This is our second time staying at Rudd’s Roost. Quite honestly would probably would not have decided on coming to Myrtle Beach had this house not been available. The house is well kept, lots of room and we can bring our dogs. We love the 3 minute walk to the beach.
I would highly recommend Rudd’s Roost. It’s perfect in location and the house is played off great for a couple or a family. It’s also pet friendly quiet neighborhood for walks the beach is right across the street with public access just a 1/4 block away! Nice small yard for kids and pets. The front porch makes it perfect sit out at night and listen and watch the ocean! Parking in the back for two vehicles is also nice.
We enjoyed our stay at this house, the lawn needs some up keep but its the winter now.
The furnishings could use an upgrade. The layout of the house is great! The yard is nice and the location is amazing. I would stay here again.
We have been at this property a dozen times over the years. I have never seen it so clean, tidy, and well maintained and appropriated; inside and out. Bravo!!

Kitchen light above the sink is not working but no problem
We stayed at Rudd's Roost from 5/10 - 5/17/25. We liked the fact that it was a one-story house and that it was in a convenient location from the beach and from the entertainment areas and restaurants. We also liked the combination lock system. It is an older house, but there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The bathrooms had nice upgrades. It was nice to sit on the front porch in the evening. Unfortunately, one of the sofas in the living room could stand to be replaced, as the fabric was deteriorating and the cushions were worn out. We did have ample parking behind the house. All in all, we had a very good stay, and we would certainly consider staying there again.
